Other suitable locations include a terraced or split-level garden or yard, patio steps, raised decking or a verandah – anywhere that outdoor steps cause a problem.

BUILT TO BEAT OUTDOOR STEPS

Outdoor steps can be wet, dusty, slippery or worn, presenting an added danger to anyone who already struggles on the stairs. An outdoor stairlift is a safe, comfortable and easy alternative, restoring access and opening up outdoor space. The Acorn Outdoor Stairlift employs a range of special measures including protective coatings and outdoor-grade materials to make it suitable for use outdoors. It is easily deactivated to prevent unauthorised use and supplied with a fitted waterproof cover to further protect the stairlift carriage when not in use.

Acorn’s Outdoor Stairlift employs the same built-in safety features as its indoor models, including auto-stop sensors to detect any obstruction on the steps.

SPECIFICATIONS

Outdoor-grade plastics are used for external casings on the Acorn Outdoor Stairlift, making them resistant to temperature extremes and prolonged exposure to UV light. Protective coatings are applied to the stairlift rail and fixings and all electronic components. A removable key makes it easy to disable the stairlift when not in use.
